Full Job Description
The April Parker Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Program Supervisor to oversee our Workforce Development programs. As the Program Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of staff who deliver employment services, business navigaiton and training to program participants, with a focus on empowering individuals to achieve their career goals and gain long-term economic independence.
In this role, you will provide guidance, support, and expertise to the Workforce Development team, ensuring the effective implementation and delivery of employment services and training programs. You will monitor program outcomes, assess participant progress, and collaborate with community partners to enhance program offerings.
The Program Supervisor will also be responsible for program development and evaluation, ensuring that services are aligned with best practices and industry standards. You will lead strategic planning efforts, identify areas for program improvement, and make recommendations for program enhancements.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in workforce development, including experience in program management, staff supervision, and delivering employment services and training. Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., workforce development, human services, social work) required;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce development, including program management and staff supervision
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful employment services and training programs
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in workforce development
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Experience in budgeting and financial management for program operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners

The salary for this position ranges from $62,400 to $72,720, depending on experience.
