Full Job Description
The Program Administrator will be a lead role in the administrative department of the center. This role will support center operations and the team to ensure families receive the best introduction in the center and customer service experience daily. The Program Administrator is a committed and passionate community advocate with a dedication to children ages 0-5 and their families. A friendly, warm approach is essential in creating a welcoming environment. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and function effectively as part of a team.
**Hiring Bonus $500 after 30 days**
*Please note that rehires within three (3) years are not eligible for the sign-on bonus
Benefits:
- Pay rate: $21 - $22 an hour based on experience
- Full Time 40 hours - Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm; Wednesday 10:30am-7pm (some weekend and evenings may be required but only occasionally and with notice)

Minimum Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- A passion for serving the community
- Enjoy working with children and families
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead others
- A keen eye for organization, logistics and operations
- Excellent typing skills and proficiency in Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms etc.)
- Must be creative and have an eye for outreach in social media and other spaces
- Proven ability to develop effective relationships with young children, parents/caregivers, colleagues, and community members of diverse populations
- Comfortability teaching children and caregivers/parents
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and be a team member
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis as a part of setting up and breaking down materials for childwatch and curated experiences in the play area
- Your insights and feedback would be valued during our efforts to continuously innovate and improve so we are giving the highest quality support to our families.
Preferred:
- ECE units and/or experience in a childcare setting
- Experience utilizing Facebook, Instagram and Canva programs
- Experience with data entry
Responsibilities:
- You will be the lead person of the administrative team
- You will manage and support our Facebook and Instagram account
- Create marketing materials for events and classes
- Translate verbal and written content from English to Spanish and vice versa
- You would be responsible for the opening and closing of the Center
- You will be the warm welcome for new and returning families
- You would be assisting with the registration process for the families and placement in programming
- You will be responsible for phone calls, miscellaneous clerical duties, and monthly reports
- You will help ensure that the center is presentable and equipped for programming
- You would be coordinating and leading designated “awesome open play space” activities and creating dynamic programming experiences for the children and families within our play area during specific times.
- You would be providing childwatch during specific times when the parents are engaged in curriculum designed specifically just for them.
- Support events and center visits as needed
- You will be provided training and implement a parent education class or group each session
- You will receive training on how to implement Ages and Stages screenings and hold screenings each session
- You will coordinate and manage Parent Volunteers to support Center programming
- You would be coordinating and providing interpretation for workshops/classes as needed
- As a part of a collaborative team, you will help with center duties as needed.

Above is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors including experience/education, skillset, and geographic location.
