As a member of the team, you will do everything from the creation of design mocks for social & digital campaigns, to website design, print, packaging, as well as brand identity and creative campaign ideations.

This is a part-time, temporary position that will begin in November and will work with our team for 4-5 months.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with art directors and designers
- Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing
- Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
- Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation
- Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners
- Create PDFs for print and client review
- Prepare images for online and mobile applications
- Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the printer
- Present your ideas and concepts both internally and directly to clients
- Proactively communicate timelines and statuses of projects
- Ensure that brand voice, concepts, themes and/or messaging are accurately represented in design
- Maintain a positive disposition in a fast-paced environment and during demanding times
Requirements
- BA/BS degree required (design concentration preferred)
- 2-3+ years experience as Production Artist within a product company, design studio, creative agency, printing company or print publication
- Experience with digital content such as websites, social media, rich media, online advertising and email campaigns
- A passion for design and creative marketing
- A drive to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- A desire to seek inspiration and share that inspiration with others
- A humble and hungry attitude
- A proactive approach to addressing problems before they arise
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Experience with After Effects and Premiere is a bonus
- A drive to challenge current design trends (what makes them work)
- Must be located in California, Idaho, Colorado or Tennessee
Salary Range: $33-38/hour
