Are you a broad thinking product marketing leader that likes to take a strong technology platform and build a powerful, compelling solution-level story with it? At Highway 9 Networks, we have a groundbreaking new cloud-based approach to mobility for enterprises – one that enables a variety of AI-based use cases and always-on mobile data – the Highway 9 Mobile Cloud.
This role will be responsible for positioning and messaging Highway 9 Mobile Cloud at the platform- and solution-level, as well as fully enabling sales and channels to deliver it most effectively. It requires excellent communication skills in prose and presentation formats, as well as marketing execution and business analysis skills with a consistent record of efficiently promoting technology products and solutions.
You will also need strong communication and project coordination skills to work effectively with Sales, Engineering, Corporate Marketing and a range of partners. Demonstrated ability in developing customer-facing presentations and other materials, including sales playbooks, white papers, website material, blogs, social media posts, videos, and written communications to external partners, will enable your success!
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
- Grow market insight, obtain industry knowledge and analyze data for technical and executive consumption to successfully position + message the Highway 9 Mobile Cloud optimally and showcase our key differentiators
- Build and use market intelligence by understanding new and emerging personas, their buying criteria, and how they purchase
- Research and know your competition, and efficiently communicate how to optimally position the Mobile Cloud
- Create product positioning and messaging that differentiates Highway 9 Mobile Cloud in the market
- Support the development and implementation of go-to-market plans in coordination with Sales and partner teams
- Enable sales by communicating the value proposition of each of Highway 9’s solutions and use cases, and developing the sales tools to use in associated selling motions
- Drive releases by developing launch plans for new products and services and handling the cross-functional implementation
- Produce product collateral such as sales, customer, and analyst presentations, product datasheets, FAQs, sales playbooks, and webpages
- Contribute to demand generation efforts by delivering product content and participating in activities for the marketing programs that drive demand for Highway 9 Mobile Cloud
- Engage sales, channel, and customers via webcasts, direct meetings, marketing communications, and industry events to drive interest, and lead generation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience working in a dedicated product marketing role in either a business unit, product line or central product marketing team
- Great teamwork and interpersonal skills, working seamlessly across different teams towards a shared goal
- Solid understanding of enterprise product marketing, solution marketing and selling motions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical and execution skills
- Knowledge of enterprise networking, Wi-Fi, and/or cellular is a plus; knowledge of enterprise infrastructure is required
- Strong aptitude for determining optimal ways to analyze markets and position technology products
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Marketing or Engineering or equivalent experience required. MBA is a bonus.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing
- 2- 4+ years analyzing products, customers and market dynamics
