Product Manager

As a Product Manager at Burq, you will lead one of our business verticals and work closely with co-founders, technical, and business teams to grow that business. You will transform market insights and customer feedback into a product vision and roadmap of features and enhancements to our existing platform. The PM will also lead the execution of this roadmap, scoping out features, driving the UI/UX design, overseeing the development & testing, and developing a launch plan with selected customers. 

This role is a great fit for thoughtful go-getters that want to have an immediate impact at a fast-growing, early-stage startup, and are keen on growing their careers in Product as they grow a tech business.

What You'll Do

  • Co-lead business growth in a targeted vertical, working closely with business development co-leader, senior team, engineering and customer-facing teams
  • Develop the product roadmap and make sure it’s built and deployed with customers
  • Lead product feature scoping, design, testing, customer validation & launch 
  • Envision the product that customers need and shape the roadmap to get us there
  • Serve as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the product
  • Support Sales & Success teams to effectively sell our product by documenting product flows, conducting training, doing customer demos and developing Sales tools
  • Support Growth initiatives requiring implementing features and running A/B tests to measure impact
  • Instrument the product and analyze product usage data to understand what works well and what can be improved; accountable for user adoption
  • Become an expert on competitors’ products, and how our product stacks up
  • Champion efforts to define and achieve Product <> Market Fit (PMF) in target vertical
  • Provide our customers with the best experience possible!

Requirements

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of tech company experience in a product, development or design role
  • Background working across engineering, design, customer success, and sales
  • Past experience communicating with customers to gather data about pain-points, and communicating that data with key stakeholders to evaluate against the product roadmap
  • Passion for running experiments, and using data-driven approaches to measure and track success
  • Experience writing tech specs or PRDs and working with engineering teams to scope and workload balance
  • Have a go-getter attitude and thrive in the startup environment - you are not shy to experiment with new concepts and use data to validate success
  • Experience using JIRA, agile project management methodologies, Productboard or other product management software
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Skilled listener with excellent verbal and written communications
