Position Summary

The Product Line Coordinator (PLC) is responsible for managing product data and analyzing market information. The PLC will provide product, market, competitor, and supplier intelligence to key stakeholders at the company. This role works within the Product Team and works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Design teams as well. Primary responsibilities include data management and maintenance including communication of changes and accuracy of assortment plans.

Compensation: $70,000 to $75,000 annually. Exempt position not eligible for overtime.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the product data input and accuracy across all categories.
  • Support the Product Management and R&D teams through the seasonal go to market calendar.
  • Use Product Line Management software to ensure development data is well organized, correctly inputted, and meets the needs of the organization.
  • Supports development, and execution of the product roadmap, works with resources across (and potentially outside) the organization.
  • Work with cross functional teams to align requirements and promote an atmosphere of results.
  • Accountable for supporting the performance of a core development calendar, used to keep the essential mission of the business sector within the agreed-upon scope.
  • Helps ensure critical gates and dates are met, and date updates are coordinated per deadlines established
  • Supports structured meetings to clearly communicate expectations, plans, and requirements for all cross-functional teams and ensures stakeholders are kept up to date on progress.
  • Has developed credibility and strong working relationships with technical and creative colleagues.
  • Works with the procurement and supply chain teams to develop order forms, sell-in sheets, and ensures all Purchase Orders are scrubbed for accuracy and data.
  • Provides marketing and brand departments with a full master shot list of new and updated SKUs that require assets or other marketing pushes.
  • Requests and maintain Unit of Measures (UOMs), product dimension configurations, bill of materials (BOM), and item weights in database.
  • Proof seasonal workbooks to ensure visual line plan (VLP), AirTable and NetSuite contain accurate and clean data.
  • Create and enter UPC/SKU/GTIN/UOM in our internal systems
  • Verify information with suppliers on a set cadence to ensure information in our systems is accurate
  • Request and create COCs (certificates of compliance) each season with all vendors; add docs to DRIVE
  • Ensures CE certificates are filed on DRIVE & added to our website
  • Sends out product testing samples and obtains follow-up notes to share with executive counsel.
  • Organize seasonal files in Google Drive by category (design comps, packaging, label art, special make ups (SMUs), and team gear)

Requirements

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite required.
  • Must be able to determine priorities and act on them in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and new product launches.
  • Ability to assess/evaluate and initiate decisive action as needed in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently along with supreme teamwork skills.
  • Ability to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organization.
  • Attentive listener and articulate speaker.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within development, sales, or marketing roles; Strong familiarity with AirTable, NetSuite, and Amplifi is a plus.

Travel Required: As needed, up to 5% of the time.
