Opportunity: Our client is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to development firmware, design circuit boards, and debug products from concept to production.
Requirements: You have 12+ years of experience designing analog/digital circuit boards and developing firmware for lower power sensor systems.

Core responsibilities
- Utilize Altium and Concord Pro to design rapid-turn circuit boards.
- Develop firmware utilizing C for PIC microcontrollers, with possibilities for ARM-based and FPGA development.
- Conduct evaluations of peers' circuits and code, offering productive technical insights.
- Recognize technical challenges, suggest remedies, and oversee necessary actions to effectively address these issues.
- Formulate test plans for hardware assessment during prototype deployment, with potential involvement in transitioning prototypes to manufacturing.
Required
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 12+ years of experience designing analog / digital circuit design and firmware development for low power sensors
- Experience with C programming for microcontrollers
- Experience with Altium
- Experience with system design and architecture
Ideal candidate
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Testing experience with MIL-STD
- Experience working in a machine shop or electromechanical skills
- DFM experience
- Experience with ARM and PIC
- Experience with environmental sensors (in-situ sensing)
- Understanding of Physics
