The Pixelogic Creative division creates end-to-end marketing content for studios, sports, and brands. Our services include strategy, concept, design, production, development and delivery. Everyone works collaboratively across disciplines to provide the most innovative content and immersive experiences.
Along with strong leadership and editorial skills, this role requires experience with Adobe Creative Cloud designing scripting/automation-based workflows for large-scale graphics versioning for video campaigns. Specifically, expertise in using Photoshop (art boards), After Effects (mogrt), and Premiere Pro to create streamlined procedures that allows for easy adaptation of videos into different versions and markets is beneficial to the role.
Pixelogic is technology forward and we are seeking a Post-Production Supervisor to drive the adoption of automation and AI across all post workflows.
Primary Responsibilities
· Oversee the development, implementation, and execution of post-production workflows for marketing, trailer, social, and original content projects.
· Supervise and work collaboratively with editors and global post-production teams to ensure projects are on schedule and delivered to the highest creative and technical quality.
· Provide deep technical expertise, innovation, and training to foster greater creative and production flexibility and efficiency.
· Strong understanding of video versioning best practices, incorporating automation and AI tools into workflow to optimize efficiency and output quality.
· Deep understanding of the creative process, animation, and motion graphics workflows and their incorporation into post-production pipelines.
· Generate and analyze budgets to accurately determine internal and 3rd party costs.
· Undertake project, resource and staff planning to accurately determine support requirements.
· Hands-on editorial required: offline/online editorial, project set-up, color correction, finishing, etc.
· Establish and ensure quality control on project timelines, assets, and outputs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
· Must have at least 6-8 years’ experience as an Assistant Editor, Editor, or Post Coordinator at a creative house, agency or equivalent position at a major studio.
· Excellent problem-solving skills, able to work quickly and independently, anticipating, recognizing, and resolving issues.
· Must have an advanced understanding of HDR, SDR, HD and SD post procedures, file types, frame rates, transcodes, tech specs, etc.
· High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop Art Boards, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
· Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
· Able to provide clear instructions to staff and to handle multiple, concurrent, active projects in a busy production environment.
· Must have demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and be extremely detail-oriented.
· Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
