Pharmacy Technician, (Part-Time, LA Alhambra)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Curenta. This part-time position requires flexibility to work weekends and is ideal for a professional ready to contribute to our in-store operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication packaging, and providing high-quality service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with pharmacy operations, including inventory management and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide high-quality care and service to our patients, ensuring accurate medication packaging and distribution.
• Support pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Develop and maintain efficient workflows for medication storage and distribution.
• Conduct data entry tasks related to prescriptions and patient information.
• Provide patient education on medication use and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience with medication packaging.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medication management principles, legal and ethical aspects of pharmacy practice, and computerized pharmacy software systems.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Long-term care (LTC) experience.
• Data-entry experience.
• Experience with Pioneer RX dispensing software.
• Knowledge of prescription billing.
