Full Job Description
The Outpatient clinician is responsible for delivery of a full range of clinically related services including psychosocial assessment and evaluation, counseling and therapy, crisis intervention, receiving and assigning client referrals and review of client charts to assure accuracy and timeliness of charting. The Outpatient Clinician demonstrates a strong working knowledge of medical model, best practices in counseling, psychosocial rehabilitation, and integrated services for co-occurring disorders.
*Pay Range: $30/hr. to $45/hr.
Full Time: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Part Time: Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (31 hours a week)
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a clinical caseload and provides group and individual therapy and case management services and completes all charting and documentation within contractually required timeframes.
- Provides crisis intervention and assists in step ups as needed.
- Participates in recruitment and hiring recommendations of new staff, trains and orients new staff, assists in documentation compliance activities.
- Displays regular and reliable attendance. Reports to and departs from work on time, as scheduled, and accurately reflects all time on time card, completes all assigned duties within the time frame and according to the standards as established by the Program Director.
- Complies with all Aurora San Diego and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standards.
- Demonstrates commitment to professional growth by attending in-service trainings, staff development programs, treatment team, staff meetings and seeks out supervision when needed.
- This position reports to the Program Director.

- Proficiency with software and/or equipment (Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as well as possessing the skills to lead, influence, and motivate others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related clinical field
- Current California licensure as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT (Preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support ) Certification for Healthcare Providers following the American Heart Association guidelines
