Kare Orthodontics in San Rafael, CA is searching for a talented dental assistant to join our team! Are you passionate about dentistry, fluent in both English and Farsi, and looking for a part-time position (Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)? In this role, you'll play a key role by:
- Supporting our orthodontists: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist doctors during procedures (including potentially taking x-rays).
- Creating a welcoming experience for patients: Greet patients, update their information.
- Ensuring clear communication: Effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Maintaining a sterile environment: Follow infection control protocols to keep treatment rooms clean and organized.
- Contributing to the lab (if qualified): Take dental impressions for crowns, bridges, or dentures.
- Providing excellent customer service: Communicate with patients in a friendly and professional manner, answer questions, and schedule appointments.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant.
- Is fluent in both English and Farsi.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organized and detail-oriented.
- Is compassionate and dedicated to patient care.
- Ideally resides in the North Bay Area (but not required).
Bonus points if you can:
- Take dental photos.
- Schedule appointments and collaborate with the front desk.
- Manage other office supplies.
Iranian dental assistant students in their final term with relevant experience are also welcome to apply!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
Schedule:
- No nights
