Full Time Occupational Therapist
Gotham Enterprises Ltd is searching for an Occupational Therapist to add to the team near Antioch, CA. While we have success with many of our offerings, it is hard to obtain true remission from mood disorders without taking a completely holistic approach. To do so, we would like to find an Occupational Therapist who understands the various links between lifestyle interventions and mental health, and who can communicate this information in a therapeutic way to our patients. Our ideal candidate approaches our patients with confidence and a friendly demeanor, and is passionate about mental health.
Salary
$120,000 to $130,000 a year with full benefits
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities and functional limitations using standardized assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, resident goals, and physician orders
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, activities of daily living training, cognitive retraining, and environmental modifications
- Monitor and document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain current knowledge of occupational therapy practice and relevant regulations
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility
- Knowledge of current occupational therapy practice standards and regulations
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software
