Job Details

Full-time

Full Job Description

Obran Health is seeking a Recruiter to join our team and help us attract and hire top talent for a wide range of positions across our organization. In this role, you will help define and execute recruiting strategies to best source, evaluate, and hire candidates from field clinicians to executives. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience and leading the full-cycle recruitment process with an emphasis on continuous improvement.

Obran Health is building the largest worker-owned home-based healthcare company in the US. We currently operate two worker-owned home healthcare agencies in California, with ~300 clinicians serving a combined census of ~1000 patients. Our immediate growth is focused on home health clinicians, including nurses and therapists, who want to own their work and have a say in the organization where they work. The Obran Health Recruiter will also help recruit a growing team as we continue to acquire new businesses.

Objectives

  • Lead Obran Health recruiting efforts by collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders across different agencies and functions
  • Generate a strong pipeline of diverse job candidates for entry-level to senior-level roles by identifying and executing effective sourcing strategies
  • Effectively and equitably assess candidates by developing and facilitating robust evaluation methods
  • Improve final conversion rate by proactively engaging with and providing a positive recruiting experience for candidates
  • Facilitate smooth transition of converted applicants into onboarding through collaboration with colleagues
  • Maintain recruiting and retention metrics to inform continuous improvement of recruiting systems and processes
  • Ensure a fair, equitable, and compliant recruiting process by understanding and incorporating regulations, DEI best practices, and Obran values

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the healthcare or home health care industry
  • Experience executing modern sourcing strategies and tactics such as job descriptions, job boards, social media, networking, and branding, as well as activating referral networks and other grassroots approaches
  • Experience executing evaluation methods including resume and application review, developing screening and interview questions, managing interview stages, and facilitating debriefs
  • Knack for building, documenting, and improving processes and solving problems independently in a quickly shifting startup environment
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and make decisions on multiple projects simultaneously with little oversight
  • Proactive, transparent, and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong admin skills including data entry, record keeping, and organization and familiarity with Indeed, Workable or other applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
    • Working knowledge of methods and processes that promote DEI in hiring
    • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local hiring regulations and policies
    • Passion for the home health care industry and commitment to hiring individuals who will provide exceptional care to our clients
    • Working understanding of metrics and/or data analysis
