NAQC - Automotive Technician

We are seeking a NAQC Automotive Technician to join A Society Group! In this role, you will be expected to fulfill the duties listed below:

• Support incoming and outgoing shipments
• Load and unload materials and products, verifying and documenting receipts and shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records of tolls and shop supplies
• Assist in workshop tasks, including but not limited to preparing work areas, basic machine operations under supervision, and routine maintenance of basic tools.
• Maintain workshop organization
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.
• Help as needed with other work around the work shop.
• Provide support in managing waste disposal and recycling efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Handle administrative tasks related to logistics and workshop operations, such as updating logs, inputting data into systems, and managing minimal paperwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require additional certification or training
• Prior experience in a workshop setting is a plus but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment relevant to the departments focus
• Forklift certificate is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, moderately to heavy lifting is required, max 51 pounds
• The position requires 20 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime during peak periods.
