Join the BioPharma Consulting JAD Group team as a Manufacturing Process Technician! In this role, you will be responsible for performing manufacturing processes in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support the production of life-saving pharmaceutical products. You will work in our state-of-the-art facility, ensuring adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and contributing to the success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing buffers/media per defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and SOPs.
- Following GMP documents with strict adherence to safety and compliance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Execute manufacturing processes according to SOPs and batch records.
- Perform cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing equipment.
- Working in a clean room environment, wearing steel toe shoes, full clean room gowning, hairnet, and gloves.
- Initiating quality reports.
- Drafting and revising documents (SOPs, MPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities and batch records.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.
- Set up and operate equipment for production.
- Collect and analyze data to improve process efficiency.
- Maintaining an organized and clean workspace.
- Performing activities that include periods of rigorous, repetitive work.
- Hands-on operations, including set-up, cleaning, and sanitization of various manufacturing equipment.
- Washroom activities, including cleaning small and large-scale equipment used in production activities.
- In-process sampling of equipment and operating analytical equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and cleanroom operations.
- Ability to understand and follow SOPs and batch records.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Regularly lift up to 35lbs, push and pull objects requiring up to 50lbs of force, and work on your feet for long durations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology and/or Life Sciences OR
- Associate’s degree and 4 years of Manufacturing/Operations experience OR
- High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Manufacturing/Operations experience.
Multiple Shifts Available:
Day Shifts:
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 5 days a week
