Medical Scheduler - Cardiology

Come join our team at Cardiovascular Vascular Medical Group in Beverly Hills, a leading medical practice specializing in cardiology. We consist of 11 physicinas and 4 Nurse Practicioners . We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to fill the role of Medical Scheduler - Cardiology. As a Medical Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of patient appointments, contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for patients with accuracy and attention to detail
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure scheduling efficiency
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients regarding appointments
• Verify patient insurance information and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
• Update patient demographics along with Primary and Sedondary insurance coverage
• Collaborate with the billing department to address any billing-related concerns
• Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and assist them with any questions or concerns
• Monitor Artera messaging software for any cancellations and confirmations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic medical records systems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and cardiology procedures is preferred
