Full Job Description
Assists the Residential Department in a variety of roles including but are not limited to transporting residents to medical appointments and completing required paperwork, schedule medical appointments, assisting group home residents with their personal needs and/or household responsibilities, and performing clerical tasks in the nurses’ office as needed. This is a full time position.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am-2:00pm
Pay Rate: $20.75

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must have a valid California Driver License, with a good driving record and have current CPR and First Aid certifications. Must also pass a criminal background check. The individual must also take the Direct Support Professional (DSP) training and pass the test within the first year of hire.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma required. Strong preference is given to applicants who have had one year working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Since there are many rules and regulations in licensed residential facilities, the applicant must demonstrate the ability to follow specific directions as set forth by his/her direct supervisor and a variety of professional staff. Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Outlook; legible hand-writing; good communication skills (verbal and written); Medical Assistant certification is a plus; one year of working in a medical office is a plus
