Position Summary: We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our client's private practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will also assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and visitors, providing a warm and professional demeanor
- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries and requests
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
- Verifying insurance information and collecting patient demographics
- Gathering and updating patient information in electronic health records (EHR) system
- Processing patient payments and assisting with billing inquiries
- Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a medical front desk or customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using computer software and office equipment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Biligual / Fluent in Spanish
