Job Title: Lien Collections Specialist

Position Summary: Royalty Medical Solutions is looking for a dedicated Lien Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and collecting on liens filed against personal injury and workers' compensation claims. You will work closely with legal teams, insurance companies, and lien holders to ensure timely recovery of outstanding amounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process liens related to medical services provided to injured clients
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and attorneys
• Maintain accurate records of lien claims and collections
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to resolve lien issues
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for lien enforcement
• Track and report on the status of collections and outstanding lien balances
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines in lien collections
• Develop and implement strategies for improving collections processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in lien collections or a related role
• Strong understanding of personal injury and workers' compensation liens
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
