BioPharma Consulting JAD Group is looking for an enthusiastic MCS Manufacturing Associate to join our team. Operating under general supervision, the Associate will perform a range of tasks in compliance with GMP standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role requires adaptability, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, set up, clean, and sanitize various manufacturing equipment.
- Prepare buffers and media according to defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and SOPs.
- Strictly follow GMP documentation, SOPs, and MPs with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Monitor critical processes and perform basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Collect in-process samples and operate analytical equipment for quality checks.
- Execute washroom activities, including cleaning small- and large-scale production equipment.
- Maintain an organized, clean workspace and comply with clean room protocols, including gowning requirements.
- Initiate and document quality deviation records.
- Draft and revise SOPs, MPs, and other manufacturing documents.
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.
- Review documentation for assigned functions, including batch records.
- Perform rigorous, repetitive tasks as required, working with high-pressure systems and occasionally with heavy equipment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Hands-on floor presence, operating and testing equipment.
- Conduct cleaning, sanitization, and setup of equipment for manufacturing tasks.
- Ensure the workspace remains compliant with cleanliness and organizational standards.
- Actively participate in quality management through deviation reporting and documentation.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree OR
- Associate’s degree with 4 years of manufacturing/operations experience OR
- High school diploma/GED with 6 years of manufacturing/operations experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Life Sciences.
- Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of SOPs and lab safety.
- Prior experience in a high-change or high-volume manufacturing environment, with GMP experience preferred.
Shift:
- Must be available to work various shifts (Days, Swings, Graves, Weekends, Holidays).
- Flexibility is required, as shifts will vary based on business needs.
- Shift structures include:
- 4x10: Sunday – Wednesday or Wednesday – Saturday (Days or Swings)
- 4x12, 3x12: Sunday – Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday – Saturday (Days or Graves)
