Location: 800 E 111th Place, Los Angeles, CA 90059
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: 9:30am - 3:30pm, with flexible hours available

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Collaborate with the Manufacturing team in optimizing supply chain processes and logistics
• Assist in sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships
• Support the purchasing team in inventory management and procurement activities
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
• Assist in analyzing production data and identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Aid in the preparation of reports and documentation related to manufacturing operations
• Attend meetings and participate in discussions about production schedules, resource allocation, and quality control
• Assist with the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of manufacturing projects

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related degree program
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to tasks
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, purchasing processes, and logistics operations is preferred
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and software applications
