Manager, Sales Intelligence
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Sales Intelligence to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for transforming sales data into actionable insights that drive our sales strategies and improve overall performance. As the Manager of Sales Intelligence, you will lead a team tasked with analyzing market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes. Your analytical skills will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, allowing the sales team to make data-driven decisions. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including marketing, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and maximize revenue potential. Your passion for data and ability to communicate complex information will help stakeholders understand market dynamics and customer needs, enabling them to excel in their roles. Responsibilities
- Support the Channel Partnerships Leadership team by providing routine sales reporting, ad hoc support, and sales / share / distribution analysis, drilling into root causes of performance gaps
- Create and update sales presentations for use in communication meetings, client facing meetings, and planning meetings
- Conduct training as required with region team and management on utilization of tools to monitor performance to understand competitive threats and results of actions in the marketplace
- Monitor channel partnerships sales department KPIs actuals vs. target metrics
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision making and accountability for metrics and result
- Responsible for the efficient deployment of business reporting tools, making recommendations for adjusting or changing audience, coverage models, or team configurations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage analytic pool/pipeline for Revenue Management and Sales Intelligence, along with other functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 5+ years' experience reviewing and analyzing sales data and summarizing key takeaways for management
- Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand how decisions impact bottom line performance
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity to desired outcomes, work with large datasets, and distill analyses into relevant insights with a structured and systematic thought process
- Clear communicator who can story-tell with data
- Advanced Excel skills & experience developing dashboards and working with business intelligence/data visualization tools, PowerBI skills preferred
- 5+ years of selling experience preferred
- Experience in consulting, accounting, technology, CPG, beverage, or accounting industry experience preferred
- Restaurant/food & beverage service industry knowledge preferred
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000.
