Mammography Technologist

Thomas Talent Network, LLC is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to capture and evaluate mammographic images for the detection of breast abnormalities. Your expertise and attention to detail are crucial in ensuring accurate and high-quality mammograms, while providing compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography screenings and diagnostic exams
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal imaging results
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stay current with advancements and changes in mammography technology and techniques

Requirements

Requirements:

• Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations.
• 3 years of Mammography experience for Sr level.  More than 5 years of Mammography Exp for Prin. level 
• ARRT (M) or CRT (M) Mammography Certification
• ARRT (R) or CRT (R) Radiology License
• BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
• Requires proof of mammography – specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999.
• Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar)
• Requires certificates of at least 15 CEU’s in Mammography in the last 36-month period (rolling 36-month calendar).
• Requires proof of MQSA approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training.
