DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and perform a variety of maintenance in areas such as plumbing, painting, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and assists with domestic and process wastewater systems.
• Follows GMP and general housekeeping procedures to include work areas and tools.
• Performs emergency duties as needed, which could be after normal business hours.
• Assist with hazardous waste collection and recycling of oil, antifreeze and the empty containers.
• Recycling of plastic from bottling line and barrel rooms at JPV and Freestone.
• Assists in the movement and assembly of furniture, movement of materials and equipment, as needed.
• Utilize CMMS system for tracking all work orders and completed maintenance and repairs.
• Assists with monthly, quarterly and yearly Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance.
• Assists with Landscaping and irrigation maintenance and repairs.
• Other duties as requested by management.
• May be required to work occasionally in Napa location
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in winery maintenance (machinery, pumps, electrical, plumbing).
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, MS Teams and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities and during “after-hour” emergencies.
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Ability to understand all safety requirements.
• Valid California’s Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation experience desirable.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
• Ability to walk, kneel, bend, and stand for prolong periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs and cat walks.
• Ability to utilize hand and power tools associated with facility maintenance.
• Ability and willingness to work after hours, when needed, in case of an emergency.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 45 feet.
Hourly Rate: $32-$37 +10% Performance Bonus
