Logistics Transportation Management (EM6732)

Samsung SDS plays a leading role in the global logistics market with unique logistics services. With its innovative IT technology, SDS developed the integrated logistics solution called “Cello” in 2010, started its logistics business in 2012 and expanded its logistics business with Business Process Outsourcing.

The Logistics Operation Management will handle various aspects of the loading operation, transportation and SECA operation, logistics execution processes, and checks and supports them. Furthermore, the position will oversee the process about transportation delivery and monitor shipments tracking.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and provide resolution to major and minor opts issues.
• Supporting Transloading and SECA operations.
• Oversee On-Time delivery vs. RDD & Appt (CSR, Track & Tracing)
• KPI Management and reporting (KPI related with Transportation)
• Monitor and manage shipment tracking, In-transit information verify,Customer appointment management
• Trouble shooting: Special requirement management, Extra cost management, IRRE and prepare weekly/ quarterly/ monthly report to SII.
• Continue to focus on operation improvement by off/on-site training

Requirements

• High school diploma or Higher degree Required
• Good understanding of transportation and logistics operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook
• Good oral and written communication skills, ability to draft and edit
• Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking ability

Physical Demands:

• The position requires the ability to talk and hear while performing the duties of this job.
• The position requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. 
• The position requires dexterity to write and use computer keyboard and mouse.
• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products, materials and supplies, up to 50 pounds.

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position. The base pay range for this role is between $24.00 ~ $25.00/hour, and your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
