As a Logistics Pricing Contract Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Pricing team and various business representatives to manage the contract and project management functions within the company's logistics business. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a focus on contract timeline management to ensure smooth execution of supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong contract administration experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively track and communicate deadlines. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring timely fulfillment of contracts with negotiated terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of logistics contracts with logistics service providers, from initial request for proposal through negotiation, communication with the legal team, and ongoing compliance.
- Request the legal team to prepare contract drafts for negotiated terms and pricing, review the drafts, and ensure contracts comply with corporate guidelines.
- Support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to facilitate contract-related activities.
- Negotiation:
- Collaborate closely with logistics providers to negotiate contract terms aligned with company objectives.
- Understand market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and leverage negotiation tactics to achieve favorable terms.
- Monitor and analyze costs associated with logistics contracts, identifying areas for potential savings and process improvements.
- Support the identification, escalation, and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues, ensuring optimal outcomes for all parties involved.
- Vetting Process:
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with contract terms and conditions.
- Monitor performance metrics, conduct regular reviews of logistics service providers' licenses, insurance, and security certificates, and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure compliance.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within business and contract drafts, proactively protecting the company's interests.
- Reporting:
- Regularly report on contract status, ongoing issues, and compliance of various business activities to customers and senior management.
- Prepare detailed reports, present findings in meetings, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Identify contractual disputes or negotiation points, collaborate to resolve them, and ensure optimal service levels.
- Travel %: up to 5 % of Travel required

Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
- High energy, fast learner, flexible and able to execute in a fast-paced, very diverse environment
- Ability to prioritize numerous projects under deadline pressure, and work extended hours as required
- Well-organized and detail oriented with an outstanding work ethic and customer-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with a wide variety of corporate and commercial agreements
- Strong administrative, interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a good team player
- Work across time zones and cultures with a cross functional group of stakeholders
- Proficient with software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); and ability to conduct internet research and learn to use internal contract management tools such as Cello, our integrated logistics platform
- Understanding of logistics and supply chains industry a plus

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position. The base pay range for this role is between $28.00 ~ $35.00 per hour, and your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
