Position Summary:
The N.A. Logistics Manager is a critical role in the operations of the organization. This role will be responsible for finalizing the implementation of onboarding the 3PLs in North America and Canada and will need to maintain constant communication with the 3PLs to ensure proper execution of services in accordance with the SLA/KPI. In addition, this role will manage logistics, transports, customs, item databases, and projects related to the role. Other related duties may be assigned later.
The N.A. Logistics Manager reports to the Global Director of Operations, based in France, and will require excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Compensation: $85,000 to $115,000 annually. Exempt role not eligible for overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a non-exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities:
- 3PLs and transport management
- Monitor and contribute to IT tests in coordination with IS/IT and external parties
- Create and maintain planning and communication with leadership team
- Elaborate or improve SOP and working docs for various processes related to 3PLs management
- Responsible for customs-related aspects of the activity
- In partnership with the procurement manager, play a liaison role between the various departments of the company
North America Warehousing / Logistics (3PLs management):
- Responsible for complete management of all 3PL warehouses in North America
- Manage 3PLs operations, including:
- Closely monitor receptions at 3PLs to make sure POs are properly managed
- Ensure thorough monitoring of order preparation throughput (national / international)
- Inventory management (guarantee the synchronization of 3PLs and 100% inventory & implement cycle counts)
- Ensure proper inventory levels between the different stock locations
- Lead or contribute to projects
- Retailers’ integration in coordination with sales department
- Daily activity monitoring and follow-up (PO/SO/Transfers/RA /VR/Interco, adjustments)
- Cost control & monthly invoicing Control
- Establish weekly & monthly meetings with 3PL
- Identify & implement regular business checks
- Produce, analyze and communicate monthly KPIs
- Manage daily business issues and inform management on a regular basis
Transports:
- Manage Transport Coordinator
- Manage vendor drop shipments and communicate any deviations with purchasing team
- Manage 3PL inbound and outbound transport including transport documentation and customs
- Negotiate and monitor transport costs V performance with 3PL
- Ensure that the TMS is properly used and that users are trained.
- Collaborate and communicate with the procurement team to give visibility to all departments
- Control invoices monthly
- Support sales and eCommerce team
Item Database:
- Maintain item database
- Ensure accuracy of HS codes, Schedule B codes, weight and dimensions in coordination with 3PL and purchasing department.
Requirements
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of contracts and contract negotiations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
Preferred Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a warehouse / operational manager, or similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain management, or similar work experience preferred
- Experience using NetSuite and WMS
- Experience at a managerial level with a service provider is valued.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, unassisted
Travel Required: Yes, as needed. Approximately 25% of the time; more as needed for extenuating circumstances.
