Litigation Paralegal

Direct Counsel is looking for a Litigation Paralegal for an excellent boutique Law Firm located in Woodland Hills, CA. Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation background and a desire to join a firm specialized in litigation. This opportunity offers a competitive compensation package with benefits, and a fantastic work environment.

Requirements

• Preparing first drafts of common litigation documents, such as discovery requests and responses, motions and supporting documents, research;
• Assisting the firm’s attorneys in preparing for court appearances, depositions, prepare discovery, draft meet and confer letters, draft responses to discovery, and draft a motion to compel discovery and other proceedings;
• Conducting factual research to support the firm’s cases;
• Interfacing with the firm’s clients;
• Managing the discovery process, including working with vendors, managing documents and other materials produced or received in discovery, and the like;

Qualifications:

• Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
• The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently

Required Experience for the position:

Must have a minimum of 2 plus years’ of solid experience in litigation in State and Federal Courts
