About the Company:
Direct Counsel has partnered with an excellent and reputable law firm in San Diego, which is a rapidly growing boutique firm focusing on complex litigation, primarily in the electronic payments and franchise industries.
About the Role:
The preferred candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of California state/federal civil litigation experience. Your typical day will require flexibility and solid time management.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Write pleadings, motions;
- Review and draft discovery;
- Meet and collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on strategy;
- Report, track, and update statuses on matters;
- Represent clients in every jurisdiction in the country;
- Collaborate with local counsel;
- Trial prep;
- Manage your own caseload- handle litigation matters top to bottom.
Qualifications:
2+ years of California civil litigation experience
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management;
- Knowledge of the FRCP;
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
Salary Range: $135,000.00-180,000.00 based on experience
