We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide essential mental health services to individuals and families. In this role, you will help clients navigate their mental health challenges and achieve their personal aspirations. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of emotional and psychological issues while fostering overall well-being. A compassionate approach and strong relationship-building skills are critical for success in this position.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Offers counseling and crisis intervention services to patients, focusing on the assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Engages with family and support networks to coordinate client treatment and discharge planning.
• Updates physicians on patient progress, needs, concerns, and both potential and actual problems.
• Maintains precise and prompt documentation, including clinical records and progress notes, following departmental guidelines.
• Works in partnership with the healthcare team to create treatment plans and discharge plans informed by psychosocial assessments and established social work practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology from an accredited program.
• Active California state licensure as LCSW.

• You have 2 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
• You are well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including, but not limited to, cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
• You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
• You are open minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve.
