Job Description:
As a Logistics Manager of one of the largest US copy paper distributors, you will lead the efforts to improve our distribution operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the fulfillment of accurate orders, timely invoicing, and overseeing the necessary inventory control function in our company. This is the necessary work, what we are really excited for you to do is use your ability to creatively find and negotiate the best logistics rates for our competitive bids, which will help us win more deals.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Experience: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 4 within the logistics department. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional development for all team members.
Problem Solving Skills: Identifying, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies or challenges within our department processes.
Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to streamline processes, resolve issues, and clarify discrepancies.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize carrying costs. Conduct inventory audits to verify accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
Order Tracking and Invoicing: Oversee the track and trace of all released orders to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely invoicing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in logistics-related roles, accounting, or inventory management, ideally within the distribution or manufacturing industry.
