Position Summary
The Lending System Administrator is responsible for managing the organization’s use of multiple loan management systems with a focus on Ventures, a cloud-based software suite for loan application, loan processing, portfolio management and servicing operations. This role is focused on maximizing the value delivered by our loan management systems for users throughout the Capital Deployment business units and other stakeholders across the organization. The Lending System Administrator reports to the Innovative Programs Manager and is responsible for advising users and their leaders on the most effective use of multiple loan management systems, partnering with the Data Analytics team to ensure a comprehensive and strategic approach to data management.
Essential Responsibilities
- Maintains a working knowledge of all end-user functional roles and responsibilities as they relate to usage of Ventures and other loan management systems.
- Represents the end user and operates as the first level resource for leaders across the organization for how to strategically use Ventures and other LMS systems for the work of their group. This is accomplished by frequent interviews and reporting.
- Partners with leaders and users across all Capital Deployment teams to ensure that all menus, standard fields, and custom fields, document storage naming conventions, etc. are being used consistently across all groups, consolidating fields when possible. This includes:
- managing collaboration among users on topics such as menus, fields, web templates, and other points of intersection, leveraging and sharing best practices across teams and
- communicating to users of changes in usage of the platform to avoid the disruption of business processes.
- Works closely with management to evaluate business process, data integrity, and compliance issues as they relate to the use of Ventures and other loan management systems.
- Functions as the Site Administrator and is responsible for all configuration and customization of Ventures and other loan management systems. Works with technical and functional teams to solicit needs, determines feasibility and implements configuration changes to meet business needs.
- Maintains a structure for detailed documentation around customizable portions of Ventures and other loan management systems including custom fields, Web Templates, Snippets, Menus, Reports, and others.
- Performs system analysis and simulation testing to determine potential impact of deploying proposed configuration or process changes.
- Coordinates with the Data & Analytics team when changes in data input will impact existing reports generated by PowerBI or other platforms.
- Manages, categorizes, and prioritizes the Feature Request backlog in partnership with managers and users. Advises on the prioritization of backlog feature request items based on input, feedback, and insights from managers and users that can impact features requested or other solutions explored (training, workaround solutions, etc).
- Functions as the main point of contact between the business units and software vendors for all development projects led by Ventures or other vendors in response to prioritized Feature Requests.
- Participates in product development projects (led by software vendors) when new features or functionality are being developed. Provide strategic feedback about the design of features based on the short and long term needs of impacted business units. Evaluate the effectiveness of features and functionality developed (from a user perspective), providing feedback to the appropriate software vendor for continued iteration and refinement.
- With a customer and user focus, anticipates technology needs and identifies potential solutions in partnership with Capital Deployment, Operations, and IT teams.
- Participates in implementation projects and leads working meetings with Business Leads and SMEs, as needed to support the smooth transition of business processes into Ventures from other source systems.
- In partnership with leaders, contributes to the development of training materials needed to support utilizing Ventures and other loan management systems for efficient business operation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience overseeing enterprise-scale loan management solutions within the financial services sector. Prior experience with Ventures is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in related systems administration in a lending institution and exposure to mid to large-size enterprise environments, preferred
- In-depth understanding of the finance industry, specifically loan origination and servicing life cycle
- Knowledge of writing business rules in loan management system environment
- Experience with PowerBI, SQL queries and conceptual database design preferred
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple work streams effectively
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, problem solving skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $72,648 - $90,811 and is eligible for an annual incentive. This role is eligible to work remote.
