Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to ensure the availability and readiness of sterile instruments and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
• Train and educate staff on sterilization procedures and equipment operation.
• Monitor and maintain sterile processing equipment and supplies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT or CRCST) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
