Position Overview: As the Lead Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in leading our business intelligence initiatives and driving the development of actionable insights and recommendations. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership: Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to a team of business intelligence analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  2. Project Management: Lead end-to-end business intelligence projects, from problem formulation and data exploration to analysis, visualization, and presentation of insights, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  3. Data Analysis: Conduct advanced data analysis to uncover actionable insights and identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large and complex datasets, using statistical analysis techniques and business intelligence tools.
  4. Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  5. Business Insights: Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to stakeholders based on data analysis findings, supporting decision-making and driving business growth.
  6. Data Exploration: Explore and clean datasets to ensure data quality and integrity, identifying and addressing data anomalies, inconsistencies, and missing values.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Implement tracking and monitoring mechanisms to assess the performance and impact of business intelligence initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to understand requirements and deliver business intelligence solutions that meet business needs.
  9. Documentation and Reporting: Document analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations in clear and concise reports, ensuring transparency and reproducibility of results.
  10. Mentorship and Development: Mentor and coach junior analysts, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for skill development and career growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, with a focus on data visualization, statistical analysis, and business insights.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading business intelligence teams and delivering impactful insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar, and proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills, with experience in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with data integration and data modeling concepts, with the ability to design and implement data models for business intelligence reporting.
