Labor and Employment Law Attorney (5+years)

Labor & Employment: Mid or Senior Level Associate for Los Angeles or San Francisco

Direct Counsel is partnered with a National Amlaw100 firm who is seeking a mid to senior level associate for their Labor & Employment Department in Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Qualifications:

• JD and CA Bar Admission
• At least 5 years of experience representing employers in employment law matters involving both litigation and advice
• 2 years’ experience in Employment Law specific to California.
• Strong background in discrimination, retaliation and harassment law and wrongful discharge actions
• Experience with wage and hour law and class action
• High level of academic achievement
• Law firm experience
• Superb writing, drafting and communication skills.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have the ambition, drive, and team-orientation to help grow and support a national practice.

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary will range between $285,000 - $420,000, depending on experience
• A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance
