ISET Pathway is seeking a passionate and dedicated K-12 ELA Teacher to join our dynamic team in fostering a love for reading and writing among our students. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging ELA curriculum aligned with state standards for K-12 students.
  • Create and maintain a positive classroom environment that fosters open communication and respect.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations, providing timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to cultivate a holistic educational experience.
  • Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid state teaching certification in K-12 English Language Arts.
  • Proven experience as an ELA teacher in a K-12 setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom culture.
  • Familiarity with various teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
