THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
We are seeking a Junior Technical Operator to join our team in LA. As a Technical Operator, you will play a key role in the localization of TV spots, film trailers, and social media content, ensuring they are ready for international distribution.
THE ROLE
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Finalizing localized content for international distribution, including graphics insertion, subtitling, and dubbed audio layback
- Encoding and transcoding files according to various broadcast and online formats
- Producing output in line with specific film and TV technical standards
- Editing TV spot cutdowns, social media, and promo content
- Uploading and downloading content to and from various digital asset management platforms
- Performing frame rate conversions
- Working closely with the technical and client services teams
Requirements
- Circa 1 year's experience working in technical operations
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Audition
- Knowledge of digital video file format and encoding/transcoding software
- Experience working with online and broadcast video formats
- Strong technical understanding of video and audio signals
- Editing experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
