Full Job Description
We are looking to hire a Java Developer to join our team. This will be a 3-month contract to convert Python code into Java.
3 month contract
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid on-site)
Pay: $100,000 to $120,000 salary
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Identify and fix software defects and bugs
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
- Participate in Agile development process, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
- Keep up-to-date with latest technologies and trends in Java development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of core Java concepts and object-oriented programming
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
- Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL or Oracle
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
