Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers, and we're looking for a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our inventory to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Your role will be crucial in supporting our e-commerce and Amazon sales channels. This will be a part-time to full-time role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Order and manage all inventory, ensuring optimal levels at all times.
  • Develop and implement an effective inventory strategy to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Proactively manage out-of-stock rates to ensure continuous product availability.
  • Order inventory considering Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), delivery speed, and net terms to secure the best pricing.
  • Coordinate shipping and delivery of products, including managing freight forwarding.
  • Design and implement an improved inventory management system for enhanced tracking and reporting.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on direct-to-consumer (DTC) and Amazon sales trends.
  • Analyze sales data to predict future inventory requirements and adjust ordering strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Marketing, to align inventory management with overall business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
