Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Lead to join our growing team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Inventory Control Lead will be responsible for training new inventory controllers and steering day-to-day operations of inventory. This individual will ensure an adequate inventory of material and components to support hardware production kitting and provide oversight of kitting support personnel. The Inventory Controller Lead is also responsible for providing Accounting with accurate reporting of inventory quantities and values in support of external audits.
This role will be working on our first shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes
- Maintain consistent stock of inventory, notifying the program manager or a responsible engineer if inventory dwindles
- Provide inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control supervisor
- Disburse components in support of production needs
- Conduct quarterly or bi-annually inventory cycle counting
- Review documentation to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Perform daily transactional tasks within the ERP system as they pertain to inventory
- Participate in company internal audits and support customer audits as required
- Identify and help implement areas for continuous improvement
- Manage expectations across various functional groups to aid in meeting Company objectives
- Monitor safe handling of pressure vessel
- Take all necessary training to maintain and build on current skills and knowledge of positions
- Comply with all facility and operational safety and housekeeping regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range $23.00-28.00 per hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands
An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
