Job Overview:

On behalf of one of our key clients, we are seeking skilled and dedicated Infusion Oncology Nurses to join a team committed to providing exceptional care to patients undergoing chemotherapy. Our client is known for its patient-centered approach, ensuring high-quality treatment and support throughout the infusion process. We are looking for nurses who not only bring clinical expertise but also share a deep passion for delivering compassionate, personalized care to patients during their treatment journey.

This is an onsite position with opportunities in various locations, including Pasadena, Apple Valley, Fresno, Glendora, Lancaster, Rancho Cucamonga, Gardena, Oxnard, Los Angeles, Visalia, Redlands, Gardena, Murrieta, Glenwood, San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield, and Hemet.

Requirements

Infusion Oncology Nurse, Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care for assigned patients undergoing oncology treatments.
  • Administer chemotherapy, blood components, fluid and electrolyte replacements, and other oncology treatments as prescribed by a physician.
  • Perform nursing assessments and triage care needs for new and ongoing patients.
  • Educate patients, families, and caretakers on oncology treatment and care.
  • Act as an information resource for students, healthcare professionals, patients, and the public.
  • Provide family support as needed, including applicable referrals and bereavement counseling.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and objectives, including quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Train and guide nursing and support staff engaged in clinical activities as necessary.
  • Participate in research and related activities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • New graduates (0-1 year of experience) are welcome to apply; 1-3 years of oncology or infusion experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment.
