Influencer and Social Community Director

Overview: Boom by Cindy Joseph and Overtone Color are on the lookout for an Influencer and Social Community Director who combines a passion for beauty and skincare with a strategic mind for influencer marketing. This role involves not just managing and engaging with influencers but also strategically enhancing our brand’s influence and reach in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy that aligns with our brand goals and targets key demographics.
• Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging influencers and thought leaders in the beauty and hair care space.
• Foster long-term partnerships with influencers, negotiating agreements that benefit both the brand and the influencers.
• Collaborate with influencers to co-create unique, engaging content that resonates with our audience and amplifies our brand message.
• Implement a tiered influencer program, categorizing influencers based on reach and relevance, and tailor strategies to each tier.
• Coordinate influencer-led events and product launches to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
• Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of influencer campaigns, using insights to refine and optimize future strategies.
• Monitor competitor influencer activities and industry trends to keep our strategies ahead of the curve.
• Lead a team, if applicable, to manage influencer relations and social community interactions effectively.
• Engage in reputation management by overseeing and guiding the conversation around our brand in various online communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media management, or a related role in the beauty or hair care industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful influencer marketing strategies.
• Strong network of contacts in the influencer community is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in using social media analytics tools and measuring ROI of influencer campaigns.
• Creative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

The salary for this position is $110,000 annually. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
