Full Job Description
As the new Facilities Manager at our client, your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our Senior Health Clinic. You will need to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and visitors. Your role will involve managing maintenance, repairs, vendor coordination, compliance, project management, and leading a team to support the delivery of care. To succeed in this position, you will need to provide strategic oversight, hands-on leadership, and have a passion for improving the lives of older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement scalable systems for managing existing and future Care centers.
- Receive and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely resolution of urgent issues.
- Perform minor repairs to maintain the center's condition.
- Coordinate with external vendors for complex repairs and improvement projects.
- Maintain an inventory of essential supplies and place orders as needed.
- Schedule and track preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure facility compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational regulations.
- Build rapport with vendors and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Manage repair or renovation projects, ensuring they are scoped, budgeted, approved, and executed within the established timeline.
- Play a key role in setting up new facilities and assist with event support.
- Supervise and mentor the facility maintenance team.
- Create and manage work schedules, address staffing challenges, and foster a positive team culture.
- Recognize and celebrate individual and team achievements.
Schedule and Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
