Geotechnical Field Technician

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Geotechnical Field Technician in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Geotechnical field construction observations and testing, including foundation excavations, grading, and drainage installation
• Preparation of daily field reports
• Geotechnical laboratory testing
• Logging and sampling of exploratory borings and field mapping

Requirements

• Approximately 3 to 5 years of geotechnical technician work experience is ideal, but candidates with less experience may be considered
• High school diploma or GED, College course work in science/math/engineering is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook computer applications
• Self-motivated, dependable, with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Enjoy working outdoors
