General Staff Accountant

We are a stable and growing manufacturing company that has an established name in the musical instrument industry. We are located in Benicia, CA.

We are seeking to expand our closely knit, small, accounting staff with an individual who possesses good accounting basics. One who can be flexible in an organization which is always changing and challenging at times. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn all aspects of manufacturing operations. This person must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment, as well as be a team player.

Duties include the full spectrum of accounting functions.

• A/R, A/P and Cost Accounting functions
• G/L reconciliation and monthly entries reporting
• Manufacturing operation analysis and cost accounting
• Weekly Payroll processing and reporting
• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting controls and procedures
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
• Communication with customers and vendors
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics required plus a minimum of four years of accounting experience
• Must have ERP experience
• Must be proficient with MS Excel
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills required
• Attention to detail and respect for confidentiality required

Benefits

Competitive salary commensurate with ability the hourly pay range is initially set to be between $26.00-$32.00 per hour. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, LTD, Profit Sharing, Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick
