General Liability Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a General Liability Attorney for a full-service and leading defense litigation law firm located in Los Angeles, Ca. The firm has more than 1100 attorneys, across 44 offices across the United States. They rank among the top 200 law firms identified by The American Lawyer.

This is an entry-level position and an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking experience in a rapidly evolving area of law.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the State of California
• 1+ year of litigation experience
• Superior analytical skills and ability to navigate novel legal issues
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Deposition and law and motion experience preferred
• Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners around the country on legal projects
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports
• Regularly handle court appearances, written discovery, motion practice, and depositions

The annualized salary range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000
