The Occupational Therapy Supervisor is responsible for assuring the overall provisions of occupational therapy services of our clients. The supervisor is expected to exercise independent professional judgment and discretion in the leadership of the OT staff they supervise. The Occupational therapy Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Occupational Therapy. Our team sees clients from birth-end of life, who are experiencing symptoms of a variety of mental health diagnoses. Clients are treated in the community, in their homes or in our offices.  We are looking for an experienced and passionate OT supervisor to help our growing team. The position is mostly supervisory with some in field/treatment/group work as needed. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Hybrid work environment.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (graduates of a qualified Occupational Therapy program prior to 2004), Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  2. Successfully completed and graduated from an accredited entry-level occupational therapy program recognized by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.
  3. Certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
  4. Currently licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
  5. Valid California Driver's License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.
  6. 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  7. 4+ years of treatment experience in the mental health field.
  8. COVID-19 Vaccination and booster (when eligible) is required for this position. Accommodations will be considered with proof of legal exemption.

Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements (If Applicable):

  • Ability to supervise and manage documentation and contract implementation for a growing team.
  • Creativity with service provision and ability to train a team in most recent evidence based practices in mental health treatment.
  • Experience with group and individual treatment provision.
  • Excellent teamwork and willingness to engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including OT’s, Case Managers, Co-Occurring Disorder Counselors, and therapists/social workers.
  • Excitement about program development in a growing OT department.
  • DMH service experience preferred.

Competitive Salary: $95,000-110,000
