Full Job Description
A Maintenance Worker is responsible for a wide variety of activities. They respond to service requests and ensure that all equipment, furniture, and fixtures are clean and always ready for use by doing routine check-ups, identifying and repairing problems, anticipating challenges, and sourcing for replacement parts. The Maintenance Worker should be familiar with all the official instructions and procedures to adequately care for these items. The Maintenance Worker is under the direct supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position.
2. Good communication and time management skills.
3. Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.
4. Valid California Driver's License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.
5. Capable of handling the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
6. COVID-19 Vaccination and booster (when eligible) is required for this position. Accommodations will be considered with proof of a legal exemption.
Starting Range: $22.00- $26.00 per hour
