SymSoft Solutions is looking for a front-end developer to join our Sacramento team in developing accessible rich applications and websites. In this position, you would work with a small team to develop accessible, compliant, and valid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prestigious clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in a full-time, in-office role!

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Build themes and components for a variety of content management systems, such as WordPress and Drupal
  • Develop highly reusable components and features
  • Participate in creating and translating wireframes and mockups into HTML, CSS, and JS
  • Working with Angular, React/React Native or similar.
  • Maintain and support existing solutions
  • Translate business requirements into functional code
  • Responsible for writing documentation and technical specifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in developing interfaces or websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of LESS or SASS
  • Working experience with Bootstrap
  • General understanding of build tools such as Grunt and Gulp
  • Familiarity with JavaScript charting libraries like chart.js or d3.js
  • Should have a strong understanding of mobile, responsive web patterns and UX/UI design.
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git or SVN
  • Familiarity with ARIA and WCAG 2.1 as it relates to accessibility
  • An undergraduate degree
