Position Summary: Royalty Medical Solutions is looking for a dedicated Front Desk Specialist - HMO Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, assisting them with HMO-related inquiries, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude to ensure a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival with a friendly and professional approach
  • Manage phone calls, provide information about HMO plans, and address patient inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate necessary referrals
  • Verify patient insurance information and eligibility for HMO coverage
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the system
  • Process patient payments and manage billing-related inquiries
  • Collaborate with medical staff to streamline patient flow and enhance care
  • Handle administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, and data entry as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
  • Experience in a front desk or customer service role within a medical setting preferred
  • Familiarity with HMO plans and medical terminology
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and office software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately
